Vivek Jaswal

Vivek Jaswal is Executive Vice President and Business Head of Green Molecules & Hydro Storage, International Projects and PMO at ReNew, one of India's leading decarbonisation and clean energy companies. In this role, he leads ReNew's green molecules and hydro pumped storage agenda, spanning strategy, international markets, business developments, policy engagement and asset lifecycle.

With over 30+ years of leadership experience across renewable energy, large-scale infrastructure delivery, and international operations, Vivek has worked across the full spectrum of energy transition. His career includes senior leadership roles at GE Renewable Energy, Senvion, Enercon India, and as Founder & CEO of Z20 Technologies, as well as strategic and operational assignments with the Indian Army and the United Nations.

Vivek brings deep expertise in scaling complex energy infrastructure, translating policy frameworks into bankable projects, and aligning technology, regulation, and capital to enable the transition to low-carbon energy systems. His current focus is on accelerating green molecules & hydro PSP deployment, sharpening market entry, and supporting the development of credible global supply chains aligned with emerging international standards.

He holds a B. Tech from CME, a Master's in Strategy from the Defence Services Staff College, an MBA from NMIMS, and has attended executive programs at Stanford University and MIT. He has been recognised among the Top 10 Chief Project Officers by CEO /insights and is a mentor with Cherie Blair Foundation.
