In his present role, he drives strategic engagements in the Industrial Decarbonization/Green Hydrogen ecosystem, working closely with senior government and industrial leadership to elevate the organization’s standing as a credible and capable solutions partner. He brings a strong track record of collaboration with leading international agencies and global institutions.
In his previous roles, Vijay led the Energy and Infrastructure initiative in South Asia for the Australian Government, the US-India Strategic Partnership Forum (USISPF) and Africa Finance Corporation. He has worked as a sector specialist in capacity building programs by the United Nations and Government of India in several Indian and International projects.
In the past, he has worked with institutions like the NITI Aayog, Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, GOI and United States Agency for International Development (USAID) as a specialist and practitioner. His experience ranges from providing expert advice in policy strategy, project implementation and government engagement.
Vijay has an MBA from the Yale School of Management and The Energy and Resource Institute (TERI). He has completed his Masters in Sustainable Infrastructure Development and Finance from Schulich School of Business, York University.
Vijay currently serves as Co-Chair of the Energy Transition Committee, a platform representing the interests and perspectives of European companies in India's green growth and energy transition agenda. He is also a Member of the CII National Committee on Green Hydrogen (2026-27) and a Member of the Strategic Advisory Committee for the International Green Hydrogen Assembly 2026 being hosted in India.
