Dr Venkataraman Balakrishnan is a global business leader with over 30 years of experience across specialty chemicals, advanced materials and renewable energy, leading scalable businesses across APAC, Europe and the Americas. His industry exposure spans coatings, construction chemicals, composites, automotive and textiles, as well as regulated sectors such as pharmaceuticals, agrochemicals, personal care and food and beverage, alongside global experience in the wind energy value chain. He is known for using diverse chemistry platforms to connect applications, deepen customer partnerships and drive differentiated growth, and for turning strategy into execution through portfolio optimisation, manufacturing and supply chain excellence, customer-centric go-to-market models and disciplined P&L leadership.
