Bio
Vaibhav Mutha is a business leader with over 22 years of professional experience spanning technology and industrial manufacturing. He is the Director of Valeo Products Limited, based in Hyderabad, Telangana, a manufacturer of Tinned Copper Interconnects (TCI), PV ribbons, and related copper-conductor products used in the solar photovoltaic (PV) industry. His work focuses on business and strategic development, manufacturing, quality and process improvement, supply-chain development, and strengthening domestic manufacturing capabilities. He actively engages with industry stakeholders on solar PV supply-chain development, manufacturing competitiveness, tariff classification, and policy issues affecting solar ancillary products. He also serves as the Convenor of the Working Group on Tinned Copper Interconnects under the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) Sectional Committee ETD 28 on Solar Photovoltaic Energy Systems. Additionally, he participates in industry-development initiatives through the Solar Ancillary Manufacturers Association (SAMA), particularly in advancing TCI development and industry standardisation. He holds a Master of Science (M.S.) in Computer Science from the University of Wyoming, USA, and a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Computer Science from Pune University.
