Bio
Tejas is Vice President of Alternate Fuels & Electric Propulsion Systems at KPIT Technologies. In this role he leads KPIT’s Hydrogen Fuel Cell and Electric Powertrain Practice.
He has authored several patents in the areas of Hybrid Electric, Electric powertrain, Fuel Cell and Advanced Energy Storage Technologies.
Tejas has led ( Lead PI) the team that successfully delivered CSIR-NMITLI project on “Design, Development and demonstration of Automotive grade LTPEM Fuel Cell Technology”. The technology has been deployed on India’s first Hydrogen Fuel Cell Electric Vessel developed by Cochin Shipyard and Inaugurated by Prime Minister Shri. Narendra Modi in Feb 2024.
The Technology has also be deployed on Fuel Cell Bus at Cochin and in a Hybrid Power Generator at DRDO Lab.
