Santosh Singh

Santosh Singh is a Managing Director and Partner at Intellecap, with over 20 years of experience in climate change, climate finance and sustainable development, having worked with institutions including the World Bank, GIZ and Tata Trusts, among others. At Intellecap, he has played a key role in building and scaling the firm’s climate finance practice, working with a diverse set of clients including governments, foundations, multilateral development banks, development finance institutions and investors.

He has led the design and structuring of blended finance and climate-finance instruments for renewable energy and other green sectors across Africa and Asia, in collaboration with institutions such as the International Solar Alliance, World Bank, ADB and other development partners. He has also supported the mobilisation and deployment of more than USD 500 million in financing across renewable energy, waste management, electric mobility, compressed biogas and other climate-aligned sectors, including support to an Indian DFI in financing leading players such as Adani, Ayana and Avaada. Having worked across 20+ countries, he brings a strong understanding of market-building instruments, financing structures, MDB processes, institutional partnerships and regulatory frameworks required to scale climate finance.
