Sandy Khera is a distinguished energy industry leader and entrepreneur with over 25 years of experience across renewable energy, power infrastructure and capital markets.
As Country Manager & CEO of Enel Green Power India, he has led the company’s six-fold growth to a 1.1 GW renewable energy portfolio and built a high-performing team of more than 150 professionals. Over his career, he has seen the sector through four distinct lenses: as an investment banker at SBI Capital Markets and EY, a private equity investor at GE Capital, co-founder of the wind and solar IPP BLP, which he took from start-up to acquisition by Enel, and a multinational CEO.
His expertise spans strategic leadership, project development, investment and financing, M&A, corporate governance and energy policy. He chairs FICCI’s Renewable Energy Developers’ Taskforce, has served on the Governing Council of the Wind Independent Power Producers’ Association (WIPPA) since its inception, and is a member of the Executive Board of the Indo-Italian Chamber of Commerce & Industry (IICCI).
