Sandeep Kashyap is a seasoned leader in India’s renewable energy sector with over three decades of experience spanning solar, wind, and green hydrogen.
As the CEO of Purvah Green Power Pvt. Ltd., he is spearheading the development of a multi-gigawatt renewable energy portfolio and driving the company’s vision of becoming one of India’s leading clean energy platforms.
Over the course of his career, he has led large-scale renewable energy initiatives, contributed to policy development, and championed sustainable innovation across the sector. His strategic leadership and industry contributions have earned him several recognitions and accolades, underscoring his commitment to advancing India’s clean energy transition.
Beyond his corporate leadership role, Sandeep actively contributes to industry and global policy forums. He serves as the Co-Chair of the BRICS committee on Renewables at Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FICCI), Head of the Governing Body of Wind Independent Power Producers Association (WIPPA), President of Sustainable Power Developers Association (SPDA), and is also a member of the Chief Strategic Officer Committee at the World Economic Forum, where he contributes to global discussions on clean energy and climate strategy.
His industry recognitions include the “Renewable Energy Leader of the Year Award 2026” at the India Power & Renewable leadership Awards (June 2026), the “Transformational Leader of the Year” award at the 35th NEA Viksit Bharat Conclave & National Excellence Awards (March 2026), and the “CEO of the Year” award at India Solar Week 2026 (Feb 2026), among several others.
He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering and an MBA from Institute of Management Technology Ghaziabad.
