Mr. RPV Prasad is a seasoned energy industry leader and one of the key contributors to India’s rapidly expanding renewable energy sector. As Managing Director & CEO of Envision Energy India, he leads the company’s India business and is responsible for overall strategy, growth, and P&L, driving the deployment of next-generation wind and clean energy technologies to support India’s ambitious energy transition.
With over three decades of experience in power, infrastructure, and logistics, Prasad has played a pivotal role in developing and executing large-scale renewable energy projects across India and international markets. Over the course of his career, he has successfully delivered more than 6 GW of wind energy projects and contributed to the development of India’s first large-scale Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project.
Under his leadership, Envision Energy has strengthened its position as a leading renewable technology partner in India, advancing high-capacity wind turbine platforms, battery energy storage systems (BESS), digital energy solutions, and integrated energy systems. His work focuses on accelerating the deployment of efficient wind and energy storage technologies, supporting grid integration, and enabling large-scale renewable adoption in line with India’s national energy goals.
