Ramakrishna Sataluri is Board Director at Shakti Pumps (India) Ltd. and CEO, Shakti Energy Solutions Limited. With an extensive experience of 39 years including various leadership roles, he has been instrumental in implementing distributed renewable energy (DRE) initiatives for consumers in the residential and Agri sector.
Shakti Pumps has built manufacturing facilities of 10 lakh solar pumps & controllers, 4.5 GW solar inverters, 18 thousand metric tons of solar PV structures and has export network in more than 120 countries. With the installed base of over five lakh solar pumps in India, Shakti Pumps has significantly impacted the lives and livelihood of the farmers.
Ramakrishna Sataluri’s work focuses on developing scalable, high-impact solutions that integrate technology and sustainability to enable clean energy access, water efficiency, rural & urban area empowerment by aligning business strategy with policy frameworks and innovative financial mechanisms.
His professional journey spans over three sectors: Office automation, Telecom and Renewable energy in top organisations like Xerox India, Vodafone, Tata Teleservices, Tata Power and Shakti Pumps. His experience is backed by management studies at IIM-Ahmedabad and Harvard Business School.
