Rahul Shelke is the Managing Director and Co-Founder of AmpereHour Energy, one of India's leading battery energy storage and energy intelligence companies. With nearly two decades of experience across conventional power, renewable energy, and energy storage, Rahul is at the forefront of building technologies that enable a reliable, resilient, and low-carbon energy future.
Prior to co-founding AmpereHour Energy, Rahul held leadership positions with CleanMax Solar, ENGIE, and Mott MacDonald, where he led large-scale energy infrastructure projects spanning power generation, transmission, and distribution. His expertise across solar, wind, hydro, and bioenergy has provided him with a deep understanding of grid dynamics and the challenges associated with large-scale renewable energy integration.
Under Rahul's leadership, AmpereHour Energy has executed and signed over 3 GWh of Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects across more than 10 countries, supporting utilities, independent power producers, and commercial and industrial customers in accelerating the energy transition. He is also instrumental in the development of ELINA, AmpereHour's proprietary Energy Management System, which leverages advanced analytics and real-time intelligence to optimize distributed energy assets.
