Senior manufacturing and technology leader with 35 years of industry experience, including about 25 years in photovoltaics with a principal focus on solar cell manufacturing. Has led the adoption of a wide range of new technologies and processes, carrying them from laboratory development into production.
Brings end-to-end experience in establishing solar cell and module manufacturing lines, with direct involvement in line design, tool evaluation and qualification, process ramp and commercialisation.
Currently drives innovation and application-based R&D at Tata Power Renewable, including collaboration with academia on perovskite technology. This technical depth is matched by techno-commercial acumen developed through handling diverse portfolios across the Tata Power Solar business.
