Bio
Dr. Radovan "Rado" Kopecek is a globally recognized physicist, innovator, and entrepreneur in the field of renewable energy. He is the co-founder and Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of ISC Konstanz, one of Europe’s leading independent solar research institutes.
Over a career spanning more than three decades, Dr. Kopecek has pioneered the commercialization of advanced solar technologies. He is widely considered a leading global authority on n-type silicon, bifacial solar modules, and Interdigitated Back Contact (IBC) cell architectures, including the industry-shifting ZEBRA technology.
He holds a Ph.D. from the University of Konstanz and acts as a senior strategic advisor to international governments, industry groups, and manufacturing giants across Europe, Asia, and the Americas, driving the global transition toward high-efficiency, next-generation solar energy systems.
