Professor Dr. Ralph Gottschalg

Prof. Dr. Ralph Gottschalg is a renowned expert in photovoltaic technology and the Director of the Fraunhofer Center for Silicon Photovoltaics (Fraunhofer CSP) in Germany. He is also a Professor of Photovoltaic Energy Systems at Anhalt University of Applied Sciences, Köthen. He previously served as Professor of Applied Photovoltaics at Loughborough University, UK, where he conducted extensive research on solar energy technologies. He holds a degree in Physics from the University of Karlsruhe, a Master’s degree in Renewable Energy Systems Technology, and a PhD from Loughborough University. His research focuses on photovoltaic system performance, solar module reliability, lifetime prediction, quality assurance, and applied measurement technologies. His work contributes to improving the efficiency, durability, and reliability of solar photovoltaic systems.
