Prashant Mathur

Prashant Mathur has over 26 years of varied experience as a Chief Strategist and Executor in the renewable energy industry. Over his career, he has set numerous benchmarks with his commercial acumen and extensive knowledge of launching and growing companies in domestic and foreign markets. He has a bachelor’s degree in engineering and an MBA with a marketing specialisation from the University of Mumbai. Prashant has held leadership positions in reputable companies including Adani Solar, Vikram Solar, Targray, and Solis Solar prior to joining Saatvik Solar.

Mr Mathur has been with Saatvik Green Energy since April 2021, and throughout that time, he has made notable advancements and successes. His leadership is distinguished by a distinct vision and calculated choices that have created new company verticals and resulted in exponential sales growth. Saatvik has expanded the company’s reach by successfully launching new business verticals under his direction, such as Solar EPC, International Businesses, and IPP agreements. Under his leadership, the company’s manufacturing capacity in Ambala has scaled significantly from 1.2 GW to 4.8 GW per annum. He is also driving Saatvik’s next phase of expansion through the development of an integrated solar cell and module manufacturing facility in Odisha, aligning with the company’s long-term growth strategy.

The company’s recent diversification into new segments, including the launch of the UDAY Series of on-grid solar inverters and commissioning of a 2 GW in-house EPE manufacturing facility, further highlights the scale and direction of growth under his leadership. Mr. Mathur’s leadership has also been recognised at industry platforms. He has been honoured as ‘CEO of the Year’ at the Outlook Business Spotlight Enterprise & Leadership Awards 2025, reflecting his role in driving Saatvik’s growth, operational excellence, and strategic expansion in India’s renewable energy sector.
