A distinguished power sector veteran with three decades of experience, Parag is recognized as one of India's leading renewable energy entrepreneurs and policy advocates. His entrepreneurial success is exemplified by his O2 Power venture: in just 5.5 years, he founded the company, raised $500 million and executed a strategic sale to JSW Power that generated impressive returns for marquee investors EQT and Temasek. This success built upon his earlier role as a foundational leader at ReNew Power during its critical growth phase. Parag is currently serving as President of WIPPA and Co-Chair of CII's National Committee on Renewable Energy (2026-27).
