Mr. Omiya Toshitaka is Deputy Chief Representative, South Asia and Middle East, at the New Energy and Industrial Technology Development Organization (NEDO), based at its New Delhi office. NEDO is Japan’s largest public organisation for managing research and development and for deploying industrial, energy and environmental technologies. From New Delhi, he supports India-Japan collaboration in new and renewable energy, environmental technology and industrial technology, and helps coordinate NEDO’s projects and programmes in India. He has represented NEDO at events such as the Vibrant Gujarat Regional Conference in Surat, where he spoke in the Japan session, and the KIZUNA India-Japan Intellectual Conclave.
