Bio
Nitin Akhade is a clean energy and sustainable development professional with over 14 years of experience in distributed renewable energy, productive use of energy, and Energy Transition.
As President of CLEAN, he support policy work, industry collaboration, and ecosystem development to accelerate clean energy and entrepreneurship in India.
He also serves as Director – Energy And Productive Economy Platform at Customized Energy Solutions, leading initiatives across India, Zambia,Uganda,Nigeria and Peru.
He holds dual Master's degrees in Renewable and Nuclear Engineering from UPC Barcelona and Grenoble INP, France and is pursuing doctoral research at the Technical University of Munich, Germany, focusing on scaling sustainable energy enterprises in Global South
