Nilay Ball is a distinguished energy industry executive and technical expert with over 32 years of experience in technical due diligence, supply chain assurance, process safety, and risk management across the power, oil & gas, and renewable energy sectors. A recognized specialist in green hydrogen technologies, he has developed pioneering technical due diligence frameworks for electrolyser systems and comprehensive safety assessment regimes for hydrogen projects. With deep expertise spanning hydrogen production, storage, transportation, and project assurance, Nilay advises developers, investors, and technology providers on managing technical and safety challenges associated with the energy transition. Adept at plant- and process-level optimization to ensure consistent output aligned with exacting industry specifications.
He holds a Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU). Currently serving as Country Manager for India at Apave International, driving strategic growth and operational excellence.
