Dr Michael Koeberlein works for GIZ since 2015. He currently is employed as senior technical advisor of the project “RE500”. Before he was technical advisor of German Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development and facilitated the establishment of the “India-Germany Platform for Investment in Renewable Energy Worldwide”. He has been pivotal that German development cooperation and private sector have strengthened its collaboration in India and deals with the entirety of relevant industry stakeholders.
Before joining GIZ, Dr Koeberlein worked as senior policy advisor at Ministry of New and Renewable Energy and as director of Heinrich Boell Foundation in India.
