Shri Kumar Animesh is the Head of the Mechanical Engineering Department at BIS, where he oversees standardisation across areas including pressure vessels, gas cylinders, industrial equipment and renewable energy technologies. He leads the coordination of technical committees responsible for developing and revising Indian Standards, working with industry, regulators and technical institutions.
