Kedar Sawant is a Senior Portfolio Manager for Energy Transition and Water at the Agence Française de Développement (AFD) in New Delhi, India. An alumnus of the École des Mines de Nantes (MSc) and the Vishwakarma Institute of Technology (BE in Chemical Engineering), he specializes in climate finance, renewable energy systems, and climate change economics. Recognized under the prestigious French Indian Young Talents Program (2025) and as a former Charpak Scholar, Kedar drives the implementation of large-scale renewable energy solutions, energy efficiency programs, and sustainable water infrastructure initiatives to foster climate resilience and India-EU cooperation.
