Kavita Dasan

Kavita Dasan is a senior HR leader with 26+ years of experience across renewable energy, media, financial services, telecom and rural retail. She leads Group Talent Management and Manufacturing HR at Suzlon Group, helping build the talent, leadership and culture needed for India’s energy transition.

At Suzlon, she pioneered the Learn & Earn green-skills initiative with ITI colleges, launched the organisation’s first structured Leadership Capability Program, developed 600+ people managers through Lead Labs, and helped double gender diversity in a year. She has also led values-led culture transformation, contributing to consecutive Great Place To Work® certifications and an increase in the trust index from 75 to 82.

Previously, as Chief People Officer at ABP Network, she tripled employee engagement and supported digital transformation. At Zee Entertainment, she led HR for a workforce of 1,700+ and contributed to the turnaround and $385 million divestiture of Ten Sports. A Gallup Certified Strengths Coach, she has coached 550+ senior leaders and recently completed the Global Organisation Development Program from NTL. She is an alumna of Delhi University, IIM Ahmedabad and ISB, and has represented Suzlon at the UN Women’s Empowerment Principles Forum.
