Dr. Kaustav Nag is a senior geoscience administrator with more than 35 years of experience in India's hydrocarbon sector. He has served as Additional Director General (Exploration) at the Directorate Hydrocarbons and as Executive Director at ONGC. At DGH, he was responsible for overseeing exploration activities across India's sedimentary basins and administering major national upstream licensing programmes, including multiple OALP, DSF, and CBM rounds. He also supervised large national seismic and strategic drilling programmes and contributed to policy and programme development in emerging energy areas. Over the course of his career, he has held. several senior leadership and operational responsibilities in ONGC and DGH.
