Bio
Karthikeyan is a Seasoned professional with an overall work experience of 35+ years in Power Elecctronics, Renewable & BESS solutions. He has vast experience in Product Management, Sales & Marketing and in offering customised solutions for C&I customers. Karthikeyan is specialised in setting up New Businesses, Sales & Distribution network across India through Distributors, Channel Partners and Retailers for business scale-up.
He has been in solar business ever since he joined TATA Power in 2013. Currently, Karthikeyan is responsible for driving Rooftop solar and BESS business through 700+ Channel partners and 3000+ Retailers across India for Residential, MSME and C&I segments. Karthikeyan was part of the Indian delegation invited by the Italian Trade Commission for an interaction with Italian Industrialist for possible business co-operation and share the industry experience.
Prior to TATA Power, Karthikeyan was heading South India Business for Eaton Power Quality, an US based business congoloramate, responsible for its Power Quality products, such as large UPS for Industries, Data Centres and IT/ITES application. He set up dealer network across South India to cater to the power quality needs of small offices / SMEs.
Karthikeyan spent five years in Muscat -Sulatante of Oman, as country manager for UPS, DC rectifiers and specialised Industrial & Telecom batteries in Reem Batteries and Power Appliances.
Karthikeyan has been associated with companies like Kirloskar Electric and Emerson Network Power (Vertiv, currently) as well.
Karthikeyan is an Electronics and Communication Engineer with an MBA in Sales and Marketing. He is also pursuing currently Senior Leadership Development programs in IIM-Ahmedabad and IIM-Lucknow.
