Girish R. Tanti

Shri Girish R. Tanti is the Chairman of IWTMA and Executive Vice Chairman & Co-Founder of Suzlon Group. A founding member of Suzlon, he has nearly three decades of experience in renewable energy and international business and has played a key role in establishing technology development centres in India and Europe, building global supply chains and developing wind markets in India and internationally. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering and an MBA from the UK. He also holds leadership positions in the Global Wind Energy Council (GWEC) and the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), contributing to industry initiatives on renewable energy, manufacturing and the global energy transition.
