Gaurav Mehta is the Founder and CEO of Dharmalife, a social impact enterprise that has spent over a decade turning grassroots solutions into models that work at scale across rural India. Dharmalife’s women-led network of 26,000 entrepreneurs brings last-mile access to clean energy, preventive health and wellbeing, learning for life, and climate resilience and regeneration, while advancing women’s economic empowerment. Dharmalife has been building, testing and replicating community-owned delivery models of decentralised renewable energy (DRE) solutions across multiple states in the country. A World Economic Forum Young Global Leader and recipient of the BMW Foundation Young Leaders Award (2013), he is currently part of the Tällberg Foundation’s Leaders Mentoring Leaders programme. Previously, Gaurav worked in private equity at General Atlantic and in investment banking at Morgan Stanley. He holds an MBA from London Business School and a BA (Hons) in International Business Studies and French from the European Business School, London.
