Franck Viault
Minister Counsellor and Head of Cooperation EU Delegation to India
Bio
Franck Viault is a Minister Counsellor and Head of Cooperation at the EU Delegation to India (and Bhutan), where he leads the EU's development cooperation portfolio in the country, an area that falls under DG INTPA. He is a long-serving European Commission official with a similar track record in Asia. He was previously Head of Cooperation at the EU Delegation to Indonesia, where the portfolio focused on education reform, climate change and forestry, and good governance. He later served as Head of Cooperation at the EU Delegation to Cambodia and acted as Chargé d'Affaires there. His work centres on managing EU development programmes, including climate action, and on partnerships with governments in the region. I couldn't confirm whether he still holds the India post, so check the EU Delegation's website before using this formally.
