Ekta Jaju

Ekta Jaju is the Co-founder and Executive Director of SwitchON Foundation and Founder & Ex CEO of ONganic Foods. An alumna of the Women Entrepreneurship Development Programme at the Indian School of Business (ISB), Hyderabad, she brings over 20+ years of experience in climate resilience, decentralized renewable energy, regenerative agriculture, and rural livelihoods. Her work builds sustainable market systems that strengthen Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs), support rural enterprises, and create climate-resilient livelihoods for smallholder farmers.

A strong advocate for Distributed Renewable Energy (DRE), she champions clean energy solutions that boost agricultural productivity, power rural businesses, and empower women entrepreneurs. She has promoted clean energy adoption, market access, and regenerative agriculture across multiple Indian states. Having worked with governments, development agencies, the private sector, and grassroots institutions, she connects climate action with livelihoods and inclusive economic development to enable a just and sustainable transition.
