Dhruv Suri

Dhruv Suri is Co-founder and Chief Technology Officer of Pravah, an AI startup building foundation models for the electric grid. The platform combines frontier AI models, physics-based simulation, and agent workflows to give utilities and grid operators real-time, uncertainty-aware decision support. Pravah works with distribution and transmission operators across India, Germany, and the United States, serving utilities and energy companies that collectively reach over 100 million customers.

Dhruv is a Knight-Hennessy Scholar and earned his PhD in Energy Science from Stanford University, where his research focused on deep learning for power system operations and planning. During his PhD, he led the grid operations product at Tapestry, Google X's moonshot for the electric grid, collaborating with Google DeepMind to operationalize GraphCast for Chile and South Africa's national system operator.
