Bio
Deepak is a leader in KPMG’s Power practice within the Infrastructure, Assets & Places division, advising clients on the energy transition and the pivotal role of power networks, renewable energy and future fuels in achieving decarbonisation goals.
With more than 20 years of engineering and advisory experience across Asia Pacific, Europe, the Middle East and North America, Deepak has supported governments, utilities, investors and developers on complex energy and infrastructure projects. His expertise spans project development, technical due diligence, power system studies, transmission networks, renewable energy generation, distributed energy markets, and the assessment of large-scale domestic and export-focused clean fuels projects.
An electrical engineer by training, Deepak specialises in the planning, assessment, and optimisation of large, interconnected power systems. Before joining KPMG in 2021, he held senior leadership roles with global engineering and advisory firms, leading multidisciplinary teams across power transmission, asset management, energy markets, and generation advisory services.
Combining deep technical expertise with strategic advisory insight and extensive international experience, Deepak helps clients navigate the opportunities and challenges of a rapidly evolving energy sector, supporting informed investment decisions and successful energy transition outcomes.
