Bio
Dr. Avishek Kumar is a renewable energy entrepreneur and technology leader with over 15 years of experience in clean energy, energy storage, advanced manufacturing, and infrastructure development.
He is the Founder & Chairman of Sunkonnect, a Singapore-headquartered renewable energy engineering and advisory group whose teams have contributed to approximately 20 GW of solar, 14 GW of wind, and over 1 GWh of energy storage projects. Sunkonnect's expertise spans engineering, quality assurance, asset management, operations and maintenance (O&M), and renewable energy infrastructure development.
He is also the Founder & CEO of Applied Advanced Green Materials (AAGM), where he is developing MaterialsIQ, an AI-driven manufacturing intelligence platform focused on improving manufacturing quality, yield, traceability, and supply-chain resilience.
Previously, he co-founded and served as the founding CEO of VFlowTech, a Singapore-based long-duration energy storage technology company, leading its international expansion and raising over US$35 million in equity capital.
