Mr. Ashwani Sehgal, Managing Director of Alpex Solar Limited, is a Mechanical Engineer from Punjab University and founded the Company in 1993 aŌer gaining valuable experience with Punjab Tractors Limited. Driven by a strong commitment to sustainable development and renewable energy, he has been instrumental in building Alpex into a leading solar manufacturing company.
With over three decades of entrepreneurial experience, he has led the Company's expansion from solar module manufacturing to advanced solar cell producƟon through the establishment of a 2.2 GW TOPCon solar cell manufacturing facility involving a capital investment of approximately ₹1,200 crore. He is also spearheading the Company's vision of backward integraƟon into wafer and ingot manufacturing, strengthening India's domesƟc solar value chain.
A respected industry veteran, Mr. Sehgal served as President of the Indian Solar Manufacturers AssociaƟon (ISMA) for over 11 years and currently serves as a Director, conƟnuing to advocate for the growth and compeƟƟveness of India's solar manufacturing sector.
