Arvind Vashistha is part of the leadership & startup team at National Bank for Financing Infrastructure & Development (NABFID) and heads their Credit Risk Management & Policy function. At NABFID, Arvind oversees the entire Credit Risk management (including policy, risk assessment & mitigation, credit structuring and credit monitoring); Industry Research and Policy Advocacy functions.
Arvind has more than 24 years of leadership experience in Infrastructure project financing/Corporate financing in the areas of Credit risk management & control, Credit underwriting & Equity Investments, across Banks / FIs / Corporates.
Prior to NABFID, he was the Corporate Credit Head, Wholesale Banking and part of senior leadership team at IDFC FIRST Bank. Arvind holds an MBA (Finance) from Sydenham Institute of Management Studies & Research and B.E. (Instrumentation) from Mumbai University. He also holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Financial Engineering and Risk Management from Indian Institute of Capital Markets and Postgraduate eMasters degree in Climate Finance & Sustainability from IIT Kanpur.
