Arjun Mehta has built a career at the intersection of sustainability, business development, and energy transition with roles in the green hydrogen, renewable energy, and circular economy sectors. As Director of Alignergy Advisory, he advises organisations across the clean energy value chain, helping businesses navigate emerging opportunities in green hydrogen, renewable power, and industrial decarbonisation.
Over the course of his career of 18+ years, Arjun has led business growth initiatives across green hydrogen, electrolyser manufacturing, Open Access solar and wind power, rooftop solar, electronic waste recycling, and clean energy project financing. He has held leadership and senior advisory roles with organisations including Hydgen, Fortescue Energy, ReNew Power, Sims Recycling Solutions, and SolarTown in both India and the United Kingdom. His work has ranged from scaling clean energy businesses and supporting policy development to advancing early-stage hydrogen ecosystems and sustainable recycling solutions.
Arjun has worked in the Indian green hydrogen sector since 2020, holding key roles at GH2 India, Fortescue Energy, KPMG, and ReNew Power. He has developed business strategies for companies in sectors including green hydrogen production, green ammonia exports, and Open Access solar power through policy analysis, market assessments, and project financial modelling. Arjun has developed a deep network in India and abroad – with policy makers, energy developers, technology manufacturers, energy consumers, and financiers advance across the green hydrogen value chain.
