Bio
Dr Anil Kumar Jain is Chairperson of the Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board and a former 1986-batch IAS officer with over two decades of experience in energy and environment policy. He has served as Secretary, Ministry of Coal and Ministry of Mines, and previously held senior roles in MoPNG, MoEFCC and the Planning Commission/NITI Aayog. He also led the development of India's Energy Security Scenarios 2047 and contributed to the draft National Energy Policy.
