Mr. Amith Kumar Deshpande is a seasoned professional with 15 years of experience spanning Banking & Financial Services, Renewable Energy, Skill Development, Rural Development, and Sustainable Development initiatives. He brings extensive expertise in project management, strategic planning, business development, team leadership, stakeholder engagement, financial services, and programme implementation.
Since 2016, he has been actively associated with the Suryamitra Skill Development Programme, contributing to the planning, coordination, implementation, and management of Solar PV Skill Development and Training Programmes. His long-standing experience in the renewable energy sector has provided him with strong exposure to solar technology training, institutional partnerships, industry engagement, trainee mobilization, placement facilitation, project monitoring, and rural employment promotion.
He has also worked extensively in the Banking and Financial Services sector, including Microfinance and Retail Banking, with expertise in Credit Appraisal, Rural Finance, Relationship Management, Client Acquisition, Business Development, and Team Management.
His professional experience further includes involvement in projects and initiatives related to Renewable Energy, Rural Development, Biodiversity, Sustainability, Climate Change, and Sustainable Livelihoods, with a focus on creating opportunities for rural and underserved communities.
