Mr. Amit Jain is Chief Executive Officer of Aditya Birla Renewables. He is a business leader with over 30 years of experience across renewables, energy (power, oil and gas) and telecom infrastructure.
Before joining Aditya Birla Renewables, he was Global CEO of Sterling Wilson Renewable Energy Group. There he strengthened the company’s financial performance, tripled its market capitalisation and led its global expansion. Earlier at the group, he took it to market leadership in Australia and the USA, delivering 1.7 GW of solar projects.
He previously held senior roles at Punj Lloyd, where he managed multi-billion-dollar oil and gas projects across the Middle East, Central Asia and Southeast Asia. He also led major telecom infrastructure projects for clients including Power Grid Corporation of India and GAIL.
Mr. Jain holds a degree in Civil Engineering from Delhi College of Engineering and a master’s in International Business (MIB) from the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT), New Delhi.
