Bio
Alok is a leading industry voice on decarbonization of energy-intensive industries with a special focus on energy transition, green fuels such as sustainable aviation fuel, green Ammonia, methanol etc. With more than 3 decades’ experience, he has been involved in Technologies focusing on climate change and sustainability. He has been leading, motivating, and managing teams of different cultures, involved in Strategy and in change management.
He is currently the MD – Asia Pacific and is responsible for Commercial operations for the Asia Pacific region consisting of Japan, South Korea, and Taiwan in addition to South-East Asia, India, and Oceania. He has been with Topsoe for more than 20 years.
Mr. Alok Verma is a Chemical Engineer with an MBA, an Executive Program in Business Management from IIM Calcutta and a Diploma in Management from Copenhagen Business Academy, Copenhagen. He is a Certified Six Sigma Plus Green belt holder.
