Aditya Pyasi

Aditya Pyasi currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer of the Indian Wind Turbine Manufacturers Association (IWTMA). He is a distinguished authority in the energy sector, with deep expertise in regulatory frameworks, developing corporate regulatory policies, and formulating energy and business strategies. In his executive role, he leads high-level strategic initiatives that address key challenges, including tariff structuring, transmission infrastructure access, energy storage integration, and compliance with renewable portfolio obligations.

With over 20 years of experience across top-tier organisations such as Vedanta, Statkraft, Reliance Infrastructure, Central Electricity Regulatory Commission & IEX Aditya has consistently delivered impactful results in the legal and regulatory spheres. He has played strategic role in high-stakes litigations before appellate and supreme courts, significantly shaping key regulatory frameworks and institutional outcomes.

Prior to joining IWTMA, he headed Government & Regulatory Affairs at Statkraft, where he orchestrated strategic engagements with the state and central Govt, while overseeing environmental / forest clearances and commissioning for renewable energy projects. At Vedanta, he engineered operational strategies for power and coal assets spanning a 9,000 MW portfolio, achieving favourable resolutions in tariff structuring and statutory compliance.

An alumnus of the Georgia Institute of Technology with a Master’s in Finance & Delhi College of Engg, Aditya brings a data-driven and analytical approach to institutional decision-making.

Aditya is a recognised voice in national forums such as CII, CEEW, NIWE ASSOCHAM and FICCI driving conversations around clean energy and future-ready infrastructure.
