Information
The Sustainable Projects Developers Association, formerly known as the Solar Power Developers Association, is an independent industry platform representing renewable-energy and green-fuel developers in India. It provides a neutral forum for policy advocacy, industry consultation and consensus building on regulatory and market barriers. Reflecting the widening scope of the energy transition, SPDA’s agenda has expanded beyond solar development to include green hydrogen and its derivatives, energy storage, pumped storage, carbon markets, solar manufacturing and electrolyser manufacturing.
SPDA’s participation gives the Bharat Renewable Energy Summit an informed developer perspective shaped by the practical realities of acquiring land, securing connectivity, arranging finance, managing contracts and navigating changing regulations. Its members operate where policy intentions encounter implementation challenges, making their collective experience valuable to discussions on project bankability and regulatory certainty. By bringing together developers across established and emerging clean-energy segments, SPDA can help the Summit identify barriers early, build industry consensus and develop recommendations grounded in the realities of project execution.
