Information
The National Solar Energy Federation of India is an umbrella industry organisation representing companies across the renewable-energy value chain, including developers, manufacturers, EPC contractors, installers, system integrators and small and medium enterprises. It works with central and state governments on policies concerning solar, wind, hydro, biomass and green hydrogen. NSEFI has contributed industry perspectives to important areas such as competitive bidding, net metering, renewable-energy curtailment, domestic manufacturing, photovoltaic recycling, agrivoltaics and rooftop-solar adoption.
At the Bharat Renewable Energy Summit, NSEFI provides a direct channel to the companies implementing India’s transition across technologies, geographies and market segments. Its ability to consolidate industry feedback and engage government institutions makes it particularly relevant to conversations around regulation, project execution, manufacturing, financing and emerging applications. Through initiatives covering agrivoltaics, solar recycling, green data centres and cybersecurity, NSEFI also broadens the Summit’s agenda beyond conventional capacity addition, bringing attention to the next generation of opportunities and responsibilities within the renewable-energy economy.
