The International Solar Alliance convenes countries to accelerate solar deployment, expand energy access, strengthen energy security and advance the global clean-energy transition. Its work combines catalytic and blended finance, institutional capacity building, technology roadmaps, country-level programmes and digital knowledge platforms. ISA’s initiatives span solar mini-grids, rooftops, agricultural applications, solar parks, storage, electric mobility, green hydrogen, recycling and regional electricity interconnections, making it a platform for both strategic cooperation and practical deployment.
Headquartered in India and bringing together more than 120 participating countries, ISA gives the Bharat Renewable Energy Summit a powerful connection to the global solar movement. Its participation can help mobilise international partnerships, capital, technology and institutional learning while highlighting solar energy as a tool for development, resilience and inclusive energy access. ISA’s presence reinforces the Summit’s ambition to serve not only as a national industry gathering, but also as a platform through which India contributes to the worldwide clean-energy transition.
