The India Smart Grid Forum is a knowledge platform dedicated to accelerating grid modernisation and the energy transition. Its work spans smart grids, smart metering, renewable integration, microgrids, energy storage, electric mobility, cybersecurity and emerging digital technologies. ISGF has contributed to India’s smart-grid vision, regulatory models, utility cybersecurity frameworks, standards, training and capacity building, while also exploring new areas such as smart inverters, digital twins, peer-to-peer green-energy trading and renewable-energy certification.
ISGF matters to the Bharat Renewable Energy Summit because the grid is the infrastructure through which renewable-energy ambition must ultimately become reliable electricity. Its expertise connects generation with transmission, distribution, consumers and digital intelligence, helping stakeholders address the operational challenges created by decentralised and variable power. ISGF’s contribution ensures that the Summit considers not only how much renewable capacity India can build, but also how intelligently, securely and efficiently that capacity can be integrated.
