The India Energy Storage Alliance is an industry platform advancing energy storage, green hydrogen and electric-mobility technologies in India. Through industry councils, research reports, regulatory resources, working groups, events and educational programmes, IESA connects technology developers, manufacturers, utilities, policymakers, investors and end users. Its initiatives also address standards, battery safety, renewable-energy integration, recycling, second-life applications, workforce development and the commercialisation of new storage technologies.

IESA’s presence at the Bharat Renewable Energy Summit is essential because storage is rapidly becoming the balancing architecture of a renewable-dominated power system. As the share of variable solar and wind generation increases, questions of flexibility, peak management, safety, domestic manufacturing and grid reliability become central to the transition. IESA brings together the stakeholders capable of converting storage from a supporting technology into a scalable industry and a critical component of India’s energy security.
