The Council on Energy, Environment and Water is one of Asia’s leading independent, not-for-profit policy research institutions, using data, integrated analysis and strategic engagement to address some of the most complex questions surrounding energy, climate and natural resources. Its work on energy transitions examines how India and other emerging economies can simultaneously expand access to affordable energy and move towards a cleaner, socially equitable and environmentally responsible energy system. CEEW’s research also covers clean-energy manufacturing, supply chains, power-system flexibility, climate resilience and the policy architecture needed to scale renewable technologies.
At the Bharat Renewable Energy Summit, CEEW brings the discipline of evidence to a sector often dominated by announcements, targets and technological optimism. Its ability to connect energy economics with livelihoods, manufacturing competitiveness, climate vulnerability and public policy makes it an important knowledge partner for conversations that must move beyond capacity addition to examine affordability, resilience, domestic value creation and the social consequences of transition.
